The film Isn’t it Romantic is set to hit the screens soon. The movie trailer is already out, and romantic comedy lovers can’t wait for it to be released. The thrilling comic movie is already the talk of the town. The film that is directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and written by Erin Cardillo alongside Katie Silberman and Dana Fox has an excellent combination of talented movie stars.
Rebel Wilson was given the leading role in the film, and she appears as Natalie. Wilson will perform alongside Liam Hemsworth who features as Blake, Adam Devine who performs as Josh and Priyanka Chopra who stars as Isabella among others.
The film starts by showing Natalie fantasizing about romantic comedies that she has spent the better part of her life hating. Natalie mother is then seen telling her to stop living in a world of fantasy and come back to reality. Natalie who is a New York-based architect is then seen trying to prove herself in the office, but no one notices her as they all think she is just but a tea girl in the office.
Natalie life takes a drastic turn when she encounters a robbery at the Subway station. As Natalie tries to escape, she accidentally hits a pole and becomes unconscious only to wake up in a rom-com that she has lived detesting. Natalie then becomes entangled in a love affair between Blake and Josh, her best friend. Priyanka Chopra appears in the film as a Yoga ambassador with whom Josh will develop a liking. The movie will be released on February 14, 2019.
Rebel Wilson is a true definition of a person who has undergone a real transformation. Wilson recalls that while she was growing up, she was one shy girl that one day when her mother took her for a community acting class, she was crying clinging on to the door of her mum’s car refusing to go. Her mum had to pull her and left her there for more than an hour.
Wilson as a young girl was unusually shy and socially awkward. Wilson by the age of 15 knew that if she was to achieve anything she has to be confident and get her personality. Wilson then pushed herself to join the debate club where she would speak more and build her confidence.
Wilson acknowledges that if it were not for her high school drama teacher, she would not be where she is today as she encouraged her to pursue creative competitions such as acting. Decades later Rebel Wilson life is completely transformed. The once shy girl is now confident, funny, daring, brilliant and earnest.
Rebel Wilson right from high school was encouraged to go after the career she liked and live her dreams. It is 1997 at the age of 17 when Wilson dreamt of being an actor while working for Australia’s Rotary International as a youth ambassador in South Africa. Wilson when she returned home she followed her dream and joined the University of New South Wales and also the Australian Theatre for Young People where she was trained in stage performance. Wilson breakthrough in the world of acting was in 2000 when she appeared in the comedy series the Pizza. In 2008 Wilson also featured in another successful movie Bogan Pride.
Wilson after having made it back home in Australia decided that it was time to leave and look out for more challenging roles in the world of film in Hollywood. She then relocated to Hollywood in 2010. She has since then appeared in many movies and won numerous awards.
