The music industry is among the most competitive ventures in the entertainment. It is, therefore, important that the upcoming artists take their time to learn what their pioneers are doing differently to pull up the success they are having in the industry. Alex Pall of the Chainsmokers is among the individuals who are doing well in the platform together with his partner Drew.
The Chainsmokers are known for their tracks like “Don’t Let Me Down” and “Roses.” They currently brought the industry to a standstill by releasing their new track “Closer” which is a collaboration with Halsey. Halsey is known for her strong voice and strong personality. Coincidentally, she has been on the list of artists who the Chainsmokers wanted to work with, so for them, it is a great experience. Fortunately, the experience was as they expected if not better.
Alex Pall says that when he was joining the industry, it was not easy. Like all other young artists, he was scared and unsure whether it was the right path for him to pursue. He started by DJing in New York City, where everyone was busy pushing their career to earn a living. It, therefore, did not seem like a great idea to spend his time practicing his hobby.
It was during this time when his manager introduced him to Drew, who they happened to share a lot in common. They realized that they both wanted the success so bad, and they had something to bring to the table. As much as they were in denial and never wanted to treat it like a career, they realized some people were making it in in the industry. They, therefore, decided to put in more work to improve their skills.
Alex Pall is happy to say that all the hard work they put has not gone to waste as they are experiencing a lot of success in very many fields of their career. In terms of demography, their music is not only suitable for college students, but it is also being appreciated by individuals in the range of five and below as well as 30 and above. Their music has also crossed the continent, and some countries like South Africa are embracing it.
