The Greensky Bluegrass band finally fulfilled its pledge to fans by giving them what the band declared 11 months ago. Back in January, the Greensky Bluegrass band pledged to host a powerful two-day show from the legendary Red Rocks theatre in Colorado. Although it took the band 9 months, to finish its preparations, the day finally came to be. On the night of September 22-23 2018, the five-member band thrilled hundreds of fans gathered in the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Originally, the five-member band did not comprise some of its current members. When Greensky Bluegrass started, it had three members. The number has since grown to the current 5 members although two other more members have left the band thus are not part of the team. Currently, the team is made up of Paul Hoffman, Mike Devol, Anders Beck, Dave Bruzza, and Michael Bont. The other two members who served at the band but no longer member are Chris Carr and Al Bates. Each team member plays an important role such as playing mandolin, guitar, vocals, and more.
When the Greensky Bluegrass made the announcement in January that it will hold a big full light concert on Septemeber, many people saw that as a far-fetched dream. However, it finally came to be. The band had a successful 2-night live progressive jam music that has a country touch. The Red Rocks theatre was filled to the brim that many fans did not get a chance to see their favorite musicians.
The announcement that the team would hold a big show inside the legendary Red Rocks theatre kicked with the Greensky Bluegrass designing and circulating posters. Many people in Colorado saw the poster that had a catchy look of a two-winged bird that is set to devour its prey. On the poster, the band announced that it would not be on the Red Rocks theatre alone. Two other performers were present. California Honeydrops and Turkuaz took part in entertaining the huge crown inside the Red Rocks club on Saturday, September 22, 2018, and Sunday, September 23, 2018, respectively.
Clay Hutson is an entrepreneur that started up his own business in the music industry. Hutson’s company provides musicians and others with excellent live show services and sound engineering. He majored in theatre design in college and quickly found work afterwards as an audio engineer. He eventually became a project manager and realized that he could offer people more if he had his own company. Hutson has worked with the likes of Kid Rock, Guns’n’Roses, Garbage, and Pink and continues to help musicians make their stage shows superb.
In 2005, Clay Hutson traveled with the “Bleed Like Me” tour, which was with the band Garbage. He served as a monitor engineer during the tour, which took place on three continents. Hutson also worked with Billy Graham during one of his tours and also worked on the “Honda Civic Tour.“ He is able to turn his ideas in realities by having a deep understanding of the industry he works in. Computers have always given him a helping hand as he is able to more clearly see a design idea before implementing it on stage.
Clay Hutson does his best to pay close attention to every single detail of what is needed for a live show and always works hard to ensure that everything goes off without a hitch. Instead of doing the bare minimum, he works extra hours to make sure that all of his crew knows what they are doing. His reputation has been built on the quality services he has offered and that he continues to offer. As a man who is aware of the dangers of not doing everything correctly in the music industry, he always double and triple checks his work.
In the music industry, there are many different new technologies that are always being introduced. Clay Hutson always stays on top of these technologies in order to better serve his clients. He has taken an interest, of late, in mobile lighting for its ability to keep everything lit up well while also being easier to move around. At the same time, Hutson is very aware of overdoing it with technology and believes that some of the best shows come from the creative minds of the musicians who are running them.
Clay Hutson is a Nashville based music producer who is changing the music industry. More than just a producer, Clay Hutson is a stage manager, visionary, and someone who feels and sees music and implements those feelings and the feelings of the musicians he works with into ideas and action.
For Clay, his career in the music industry began years ago. Before starting his own business, he had spent years working with tour production and live entertainment. These experiences gave him a sharp set of skills and insight into the industry. It was those experiences that allowed him to start out on his own after the recession hit and the company he was working for hit a rough patch.
Since starting out on his own, Clay Hutson has found major success. Although he has found such success that has not stopped him from staying active in all parts of his company. From being a stage manger, to being heavily involved in things before and after shoes, Clay Hutson stays active in making sure that shows and tours operate smoothly.
What makes Clay so successful is his way turning thoughts into actions. He has a way of accurately envisioning how things will sound, look, and go together before making any decisions. He attributes this to his past experiences, which he says he now uses to create a larger perspective and perfectly execute his plans.
In the future, Clay Hutson is excited to delve deeper into technological advances. He is very aware that the music industry will not wait for anyone, so he makes sure that he keeps up with times in order to give people an incredible experience that is new and exciting. From creating different experiences with lights to knowing when a aerial stunt is more crowd pleasing than a large screen, Clay Hutson is all about making people in the audience excited to watch the show.
Clay Hutson is much more than a music producer or stage manager. He is someone who rolls with changes and strives to create new and exciting ideas to really help musicians shine on stage and stand out.
