She was once a gymnastics coach which essentially got her started on the path to leadership. On Bloomberg she revealed that the same methods of training and inspiring her team as a coach have now been transferred to her role as a CEO where she brings in her non-judgmental and open way of inspiring vision and creativity in her team.

Ask anyone about the best advertiser in the business in Brazil; the answer inevitably would be José Henrique Borghi of the Brazilian ad agency, ‘Mullen Lowe.’ He completed his graduation in marketing from Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo (PCUSP). Once he attended an advertising event with his sister and his destiny was sealed there. He fell in love with that world on the spot.
Post his degree; he got the job of an advertising agent in Ogilvy ad Academy in 1988. Later the company merged with Lowe, a company owned by Mullen Lowe Brasil and Jose became its CEO. It was only after this acquisition in 2015 that Mullen Lowe Brazil was born.
Throughout his career, Jose has drooled out some exceptional ad campaigns though his most remarkable one is undoubtedly the ‘Mammals Parmalat’ ad which threw light on the prejudice against Down’s syndrome. It is his most idolized and professionally original publicity ads. Considered the best advertiser among Brazilian business , he has many awards under his belt that includes 20 Cannes, 11 One Show, 12 Clios, 16 Abril Awards and even 15 awards at the New York Festival. In 2009, he was awarded the “Agency Professional by the Brazilian Advertising Association (ABP). In 2014, he was again honored as the Advertising Professional of the Year by ABP.
Apart from his magical creative skills, Jose is also a fitness freak and loves to jog. José Henrique Borghi prefers to use his bike for commuting. He is known to participate in 12 Ironman events, famed as one of the most grueling athletic competitions around.
